Renae, David and Nafees are chuffed to host you at the Agile Coaching Retreat Queensland 2023. We are all passionate about agile, coaching and agile coaching. We love working with individuals, teams and organisations and help them grow. We are helping create this space for you to come together, collaborate and continue your journey.
We are hosting this event as volunteers.
Renae Craven
Renae lives in Brisbane. She is a Scrum Alliance CTC, an ICAgile Instructor and a Level 2 IECL Organisational Coach. Renae is also a certified Pilates instructor and runs her own Pilates studio.
Renae is the co-organiser of the Women in Agile Brisbane meetup and the co-host of the Women in Agile podcast. She has spoken at two Global Scrum Gatherings (Vienna 2019 and Lisbon 2022) and three Regional Scrum Gatherings (2017, 2021 and 2023).
David Clifford
David lives in Adelaide. He is a CTC, an ICAgile Instructor and a Level 1 IECL Exec Coach.
David has accreditation in Human Synergistics and is a co-organiser of the Adelaide Agile meetup. He is also the Coaching Retreat Advisor for Scrum Alliance.
Nafees Butt
Nafees lives in Sydney. He is a Principal Consultant at Elabor8 and leads and advises transformations. Nafees was the host of the first two retreats in Sydney and Melbourne.
Nafees is a guide for Agile Australia and is a co-organiser of the Sydney Agile Coach meetup. He has spoken at various local and international conferences (AgileAus, ScrumAus, SGSHA, LASCOT, XP, Agile Prague, LAST Conf).
Alex Sloley
Alex Sloley is the advisor for Agile Coaching Retreat Queensland 2023. Alex is an agile evangelist. On top of his busy career working in companies around the world, he is an avid member of the agile community and he published his book “The Agile Community” in 2022. He speaks regularly on the global stage and is an organiser of conference organisers. He specialises in agile training, coaching, and transformations.
For those who are in the know, Alex is the Scrum Alliance Shepherd of the global Agile Coaching Retreat Advisor Team, a member of the Scrum Alliance Coaching Advisory Team, and the Co-Chair of the Agile Alliance Agile Coaching Ethics Initiative Team. For the rest of us, that means Alex helps a lot of people and is a mover and shaker.
